Research Methods
User Research can take many forms but its fundamentals remains the same. My goal is to understand motivation and natural progressions when it comes to UX. Simplicity and scalability are main drivers to my approach.
User Experience Research
UX Research and Design Thinking methodologies can sometimes overlap providing insight on various opportunities. Through clustering and synthesizing methods, I am able to document learnings for future opportunities. Learnings that aren’t just for initiatives but for playbooks, training, onboarding and development.
I true believe that research and learnings should be shared resource, easily assessable for any team.
Make it stand out.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Holistic Research
While UX Research is in the forefront understand consumers and users, I also believe that it needs to be complemented with a handful of other analysis. Any time we are exploring new opportunities, we need to analyze the entire playing field. We need to understand market space, product value and ROI. These are all part of research approach.
